Eclipse watched as her older siblings ran out of their large room of the castle. She watched sadly as Shadowhunter started to take off before she turned around to see her little one year old sister watching the older dragonets go out and fly in the moonlight. Shadowhunter walked towards Eclipse and her her tiny chin under her talons. "We'll be right back, I promise." Shadowhunter tried to comfort her but now Eclipse looked even more distressed and longingly looked outside the window. Shadowhunter sighed, trying to think of some way to make her little sister happy so that she didn't feel guilty playing with the others; she looked around and smiled as a thought flashed through her mind, "Hey, I'll bring you back a moon lily, they only bloom under three full moons and you'll be so lucky to have one! Okay?" Eclipsed flapped her wings and nodded in approval, Shadowhunter smiled and let go of the little dragonet's talons and head out onto the large porch of their room and lifted off into the sky.

The moons felt like they were calling her closer and closer, just like on the night of her hatching. She is the only dragonet of Clearsight and Darkstalker's that had all three special traits of a NightWing born under the three full moons, meaning that she was a mind reader, a powerful prophet, and an animus. The last part made her mother very protective and worried about her future, but she couldn't keep her in the castle tonight, not when all of the moons were full and calling her name.

"Shadowhunter!"

Shadowhunter sighed as she heard her name being called, it was her mother Clearsight, the queen. She turned around and saw her mother in the gardens of the courtyard, talking to other officials of the court. As she landed the other court members nodded to Clearsight and walked off; no body ever bowed to her mother, it said that it made her uncomfortable, but that would be different when Shadowhunter was queen.

"Hi mother! Uhmm, whatcha need?" She laughed nervously as Clearsight looked down at her in a badly hidden anxious way.

"Shadow, you know that you need to be more careful, and who is watching your little sister?" Clearsight looked up and around fer the little dragonet and her tail lashed in anxiety.

"She's fine mom, she's asleep. I wanted to get her a moon lily.." Shadowhunter looked down at her talons hoping that she looked innocent enough to be let go, but then she could feel the cold sizzle of her father's mind approaching and sighed. Welp, no way that she was going to be able to enjoy tonight.. Babysitting duty, again.

Darkstalker walked around Clearsight and sat next to her, nuzzling her mother lovingly and making Shadow want to gag.

"Shadow, I know how you feel about the moons, I feel it too. But you need to watch your sister, bring her here to your mother and I and then you can go with your brothers." He smiled at his daughter and Shadow smiled back and to her mom, "Mother, is that also okay with you?" "Mind your father, Shadowhunter. But no detours my little star." Clearsight rested on Darkstalker's shoulder and they both gave her a loving look that made Shadow uncomfortable. "Yeah, okay. I'll be back!' She quickly took off into the night sky towards her room. She was lucky to be here, lucky to have the best family. Things could've been way different, she had looked into her mother's mind and has seen the different lines and paths that could have taken place, dark, sad, and bloody paths. But she thought to herself, "What a silly thought, father? Going mad and mother putting him into a trance? Outrageous thought, Shadow."





My au where Darkstalker actually listened to Clearsight and wasn't a dick and ruined everything. Basically when he had Arctic under a trance he saw how terrified and sad Clearsight was and stopped. He tok away Arctic's powers and tried to trade him for his mother, which worked at first but then the queen realized that her son was now useless and exiled him, Foeslayer and Arctic moved to a location far away from both kingdoms and are hardly heard from again.
Darkstalker freed Indigo from the wooden sculpture and after he told Fathom everything and apologized, Fathom still couldn't trust him and fled with Indigo in the night.
Later the queen dies from being poisoned by one of her daughters but since it wasn't a fair and official trial, the daughter was thrown into jail and the other daughters fled, leaving Darkstalker as the only candidate being her second in command. He became king peacefully and Clearsight was his queen. They lived out the rest of their years happy together with their dragonets and grand-dragonets.

Aka Clearsight deserved a happy ending and didn't get one and I had to make this lmao.
